A customer from New Jersey commissioned BarMade to combine the display of his collection of craft beer glasses as well as storage for his phonograph albums, using a whiskey barrel he provided. The barrel is from his favorite local craft beer brewery and was used to store and transport their craft beer.
Barrel staves were secured with screws and double doors were cut from the front, preserving the graphics. A hasp was created from a barrel ring, extending the length of the doors on both sides, and secured with a padlock and key. Two pull rings were affixed near the top of the doors. The interior has a 1/4-inch round tempered glass tabletop and below that, wood dividers to store phonograph albums. A 1/2-inch beveled tempered glass tabletop covers the barrel top, where the customer's turntable will sit.
Multi-colored functional LED lights are affixed to the underside of the barrel top. programmable for hundreds of different patterns and colors, to include flashing with the beat of the music.
This is a commissioned piece, and not available for sale.
